Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 Review: Is this a great budget smartphone with a bigger battery?
This new Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 smartphone features the latest design in the Zenfone Max line and more powerful internals.
The Gorilla Glass 6, Snapdragon 660 smartphone has been on sale since mid-last year. Will the Max Pro M2 continue to gain momentum?
Design:
One of the best looking mobiles at a budget price, this smartphone looks premium to look at as it has 3D glass on the back. The volume rocker keys + Power button on the right and the SIM tray (dual 4G volte SIM) expandable storage (up to 2 TB) on the left, the micro-USB port on the bottom + the primary microphone + 3.5mm headphone jack, and a secondary microphone on the top. It is flexible and comfortable to hold in the hand. It has a dual camera with LED flash and is easy to use as the fingerprint sensor is located in the rear center. Surprisingly, despite its large battery, the mobile is not huge or bulky.
Display:
This mobile has a 19: 9 aspect ratio 6.26 inch IPS LCD display + Full HD and Corning Gorilla Glass 6, with a small notch on the top. And has the option to adjust the color temperature to our liking. Therefore, its display has good viewing angles and is capable of giving 94% of the NTSC color range. The notch hiding feature is not available in the app (manually), which can sometimes be annoying when using the app.
Camera:
Rear camera (dual):
i) First camera: 12 MP + LED Flash, Sony IMX486 sensor, PDAF, 1.25μm pixel size, f / 1.8 aperture
ii) Second camera: 5 MP (to capture in-depth information of portrait shots)

Powered by an Adreno 512 GPU with Octo Core Snapdragon 660 processor (Quad 2.2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs), the smartphone is available in three variants.

ii) 4GB RAM / 64GB content storage and
iii) 6GB RAM / 64GB Content Storage
You can expand the storage up to 2TB with a microSD card. It also has a fingerprint sensor & Face Unlock feature.
Battery & Performance:
The large battery of 5,000mAh is one of the highlights of this phone.
Its performance is smooth and commendable as it does not cause setbacks or hangs when using the mobile. Not only that, but the processor is powerful enough to play PUBG, Asphalt and some graphics games. Also there is no heat issue in this mobile.
