Wi-Charge today announced its new Ultra-Compact PowerBuck, which the company claims can be used to wirelessly compatible devices up to 30 feet away.  The company is targeting chargers for smart and IoT devices.  According to the Wi-Charge, the powerbag is plugged directly into a wall-socket or you can plug it into a lightning lamp socket.

According to Wi-Charge, the device is slightly larger than the Nest thermostat and easier to install.  The company claims that it uses Aircord technology to allow users to install the charger without any configuration, calibration or tuning.

"PowerPuck is changing the way manufacturers build smart and IoT devices and how consumers and businesses use them," said Yuval Poker, Wi-Charge's chief marketing officer.  You may not have to worry about the battery life or power cables of the device due to the unique features of the manufacturer.  In addition, consumers and businesses can achieve convenience and performance using the next generation of smart devices.

The company also said it will bring to the consumer powerbag units that will be mass-produced by 2020
