The newest feature in Google Maps
A new feature is coming in the Google Maps app. Customers can find out information about toll prices on the high road before the start of their trip.
However, for those who do not want to pay tolls, Google also offers alternative toll-free roadways. It can be accessed by clicking on the three dots in the top right corner of Google Maps and selecting the ‘avoid tolls’ option.
It will be available in April on nearly 2,000 toll roads in India, the US, Japan and Indonesia. - Will be expanding to more countries soon. Android iOS users can use this feature.
Google has released a new update for iOS users to make Google Maps easier to use on the Apple Watch or iPhone. New updates include a new pinned trip widget, direct navigation from the Apple Watch, and Google Maps integration into the Siri Shortcuts app.
Also, Apple Watch users will soon be able to get routes directly from their watch on Google Maps. In a few weeks, Google says users will no longer need to navigate from their iPhone. Navigation within the Apple Watch itself is enabled automatically by tapping the Google Maps Fast Route in their Apple Watch app. For instant access to Google Maps information, click on "Hey Siri, Search on Google Maps".
