A liter of water for just 5 rupees !!!
Indian Railways is starting to sell water produced from air for just Rs 5 per liter.
In a new initiative for water conservation and environmental protection, Indian Railways has installed an ‘Atmospheric Water Generator’ at Secunderabad Railway Station. This machine, called a ‘meghdoot’, uses moist air to collect water, which passes through filtration stages and is recycled for consumption.
Railway Minister Piyush Goyal shared this information on Twitter
The water coming from this atmospheric water generator is in the price range of Rs.2 to Rs.8. It costs Rs 8 per bottle with 1 liter of water and Rs 5 if the customer brings their own bottle. 300ml for a glass, Rs.3 and for their glass / container for water Rs. 2 to be paid. Similarly, 500ml of water is available for Rs.5 or you can get it for Rs.3 if you bring your own glass.
