‘The Wall’ Micro LEDs for Businesses  One year after the introduction of TVs, Samsung unveiled new models for retail consumers earlier this year.  The lineup is available in a variety of sizes ranging from a moderate 73-inch by 2K definition to 292 inches (about 24 feet) in the popular 8K.  While all these devices have been on sale globally for some time, Samsung has finally brought some of them to India.  These are available for purchase exclusively at the Samsung Executive Briefing Center in Gurgaon.

These TVs are said to deliver AI upscaling, 120 Hz refresh rate, quantum HDR technology and maximum brightness with 2,000 knots.  Samsung claims that the lifespan of the panels is 100,000 hours

Launched in India, the line-up includes the 146-inch 4K model, 219-inch 6K and 292-inch 8K models.  3.5 crore to 12 crore (excluding taxes) for the largest model.

Samsung, which first unveiled the 146-inch luxury micro LED TVs known as ‘The Wall’ at the CES trade show in 2018, has added several new models this year, including the 219-inch and 292-inch more expensive TVs.  While the introduction of such expensive devices in India is mostly a brand-building exercise for Samsung, it will be even more interesting how many people will actually try to learn about them.
